JohnBIRCHSadly passed away at the New Lodge Nursing Home, Mickleover on Saturday 23rd August 2025, aged 87 years.

John will be greatly missed by all his family and friends, and all who knew him.

Funeral service to be held at Markeaton Crematorium, Round Chapel on Monday 22nd September 2025 at 2.00pm.

Donations if desired are invited for RNLI.

John - Known to me and my family as simply 'JB' or 'Big John', a true and trusted friend for over 60 years.
The only comfort in his passing is knowing he will once again be reunited with his beloved wife Ursula.
So long JB, until we meet again at that great terminus in the sky.
