JoanBEST(Cullercoates) (formerly of North Shields). Died Suddenly in Hospital on 11th June 2019, aged 79 years. Loving mam of Derek and the late Paul, mother-in-law of Jan, sister of Yvonne and the late Jimmy, devoted gran of Christopher and Rachel and great-grandmother of Macey Leigh. Will be greatly missed by all family and friends. Please meet for service at Tynemouth Crematorium on Monday 24th June 2019, at 1.30pm. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to the British Heart Foundation.

You were always so full of life, you knew how to enjoy yourself and lit up the room for others, you always made a great fuss of the children and your smile would warm our hearts, fly high angel and enjoy the odd glass of wine or two up there, always in our thoughts.

Joan you were truly amazing and your stories will stay with me forever. You were funny in your own little way and you weren't just Joan to me you were a grandma too me. Going to miss you loads. Hope your at peace now and have a vodka and slush up their for us. Rip. Love you xx
