Thirteen years have passed, and it feels like just yesterday when I was visiting you at Baileys, only beginning my journey into adulthood while you were just finishing yours. There have been countless moments when I’ve thought of you on my own journey, through life’s ups and downs, wishing I could share so many experiences with you. But I know, in my heart, you’ve been with me every step of the way. From the days in the Wild West and sunny Southwold to the lochs, mountains, sunsets, and most importantly, my entry into fatherhood – you’ve been a part of it all.

Thank you for shaping such a wonderful youth for me, instilling a love for the outdoors, nature, and the land. Your legacy lives on strong in all of us here. We miss you deeply, and we know our paths will cross again. You’re always remembered in the simple things- a combine in the summer, or a plough in the spring! Much love always, until we meet again Grandad!
