The obituary notice of Jean BELL

I am so sorry to learn that my search has picked up on this sad news. I tried over the months for news of Jean after there was no follow-up from a WhatsApp message from her probably last April after the passing of my husband Rudy - he’d lived with Parkinson’s for many years, then gave up. Unfortunately I lost all WhatsApp correspondence from then due to merging iPhones!
The last time we met up was I think in 2019 in Edinburgh when to me Jean looked just great! We’d worked together at NATO in Brussels where Jean being just that wee bit older
took me under her wing and we kept in touch over all the years. Rudy and me passed by Bannockburn at the time when her Mum was still alive…and Jean visited us too over here in Luxembourg. While at NATO, she kept us amused with great stories of her family back home; I can’t now remember the names (maybe Maureen? but then other Scottish names) and in those days there were new babies arriving!
I’ll always be very grateful for her kindness and contacts over the years and I just want to pass on condolences, albeit a little late!
