MavisBELLPassed peacefully at home on December 21, aged 88 years. The wife of the late Brian Bell and mother of the late Andrew. She leaves behind her daughter Alison, grandchildren Ellie, Joe and Grace, and her great-grandson Atticus. Mavis worked as a secretary for Lambert Howarth and also at the Magistrates Court at Rawtenstall before retraining to become a teacher at Balladen County Primary School. Friends and family attended her funeral which took place on Thursday, January 4 at Accrington Crematorium. Donations in her memory are welcomed for The Samaritans
