Vera GraceBEAGRIEOn Tuesday 5th May 2026, Vera passed away peacefully at The Grove Private Residential Care Home, Charlestown. Vera, aged 94 years was a devoted wife to her late husband Robert, and a loving mother to Neil, Alistair and Jane. A proud mother-in-law to Daphne, Laura and Tim. Cherished grandmother to Robert, Rachel, Alex, James, Tom and Kate, a great grandmother to Eli. Vera was treasured as a sister to Gordon, Dave (both deceased) and Stan.
Vera's warmth, kindness and lively spirit touched all who knew her. She will be remembered for her devotion to family, and the joy she brought into the lives of those around her.
Vera's funeral service will take place on Thursday 4th June at 11am at St Paul's Church, Charlestown followed by burial at Campdown Cemetery. As June 4th would have been Vera's 95th birthday, please feel free to wear bright colours or whatever you feel most comfortable wearing.
Donations in loving memory of Vera in lieu of flowers will be for the work of Cancer Research UK via retiring collection on the day of the service or verabeagrie.muchloved.com
