SteveBATTYSteve passed away peacefully at The Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital on Wednesday, 4th March 2026, aged 53 following a short but courageous battle.
Devoted husband of Caroline and a cherished son to Sue and the late David. Loving dad to Amy, Wybie, Amelia, Zac, and Jodie. A dear brother, cousin, son-in-law and friend, Steve's warmth and presence will be missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Steve's kindness extended through his dedicated work for Guide Dogs, he changed the lives of many, providing support. His legacy of compassion will live on through the many people he helped.
A funeral service to celebrate Steve's life will be held at: St Peter's Chapel, Exeter & Devon Crematorium, Topsham Road, Exeter EX2 6EU 12.30pm, Wednesday 25th March.
In honour of Steve's spirit, the family kindly requests that attendees wear colours; please refrain from wearing traditional black mourning clothes.
