AlanBATESAt rest on Tuesday 17th March 2026 at the RSUH, Alan aged 78 years of Meir Heath.
The dearly loved husband of Sue, much loved dad of Liz and Matt, dearest father-in-law of Andy and Julie, devoted grandad of Millie and Max, a dear uncle and good friend to many. Alan will also be greatly missed by his dog Laika.
A funeral service and cremation will take place at Carmountside Crematorium on Thursday 16th April at 12 noon. Relatives and friends wishing to attend kindly meet for the service.
No flowers by request please, donations can be given in memory of Alan to the Douglas Macmillan Hospice, a donation collection box will be available on leaving the Crematorium Chapel.
