Evelyn JoyceBATES' Joyce ' Of John Nichols Street, Hinckley, passed peacefully away in Bethel Residential Home, Earl Shilton on 10th July 2019, aged 88 years. Devoted wife of the late Nick, much loved mum of Stefan, Andrew and Nicola and a loving grandma to Lee, Hayley, Hannah, James, Skyla and Casey and great grandma to Liam, Oliver and Meredith. Joyce's funeral service will take place at The Heart of England Crematorium Nuneaton on Friday 2nd August at 2.00pm. Family flowers only please, donations if so desired to ''Alzheimer's Society'' may be placed in the donation box at the service. All enquiries to McCartneys Funeral Service, 47 Coventry Road, Hinckley, Leics Tel 01455 637138.

So sad to learn of Joyce's passing. She was a wonderfully pleasant woman and a real cornerstone of the old John Nicholl's Street community. I will always have endearing memories of her, especially her kindness towards others. May she rest in peace, content that the example she set has been passed on to future generations.
