Stephen PhilipBARRATTSTEPHEN, of Station Road in Rishton, passed away aged 79 years on Friday, December 12, at Royal Blackburn Hospital.

The beloved husband of the late Sheila, much loved dad of Charlene, loved father-in-law of Daniel and a dear brother of David. Stephen started his working life as a market gardener and after moving to Rishton, he became site supervisor at Moorhead High School in Accrington.

He was a keen cyclist and rode his bike all over the Northwest, but his main passion was motorbikes, owning them for most of his life. He was a member of BMW and Ducati motorbike clubs and also St Peter and St Paul's Church in Rishton. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him.

The funeral will be held at Accrington Crematorium on Monday, January 5 at 10.20am. Family flowers only please; donations are being collected in memory of Stephen for Dogs Trust and The Salvation Army, c/o Rishton Funeral Services, 16 High Street, Rishton, BB1 4LA. Tel: 01254 889461.
