Melvyn DouglasBARNSLEYMel Peacefully on Sunday 24 June 2018 at Prince Charles Hospital, Mel aged 81 years formerly of Brynheulog Terrace, passed away with his family at his side following a short illness. Husband to the late Maureen Barnsley and loving father to Yvonne, Deborah, Frances, Helen, Hayley and Stephen, and much cherished father-in-law, grandad and great-grandad. Mel was the former principle cornet and soprano player with Cwmaman Silver Band and will be sadly missed by all family and friends. Funeral service to be held at 1pm on 23 July 2018 at the chapel of rest in Harriet Street Trecynon prior to the interment at Aberdare Cemetery at 2pm. Family flowers only please but donations in lieu of flowers if desired to the Coronary Care Unit, Ward 1, Prince Charles Hospital c/o Richards Funeral Services
