In Loving Memory of Ken ❤️🕊️
Ken was such a lovely, kind and gentle man, and it was a privilege to have known and cared for him at Monkscroft.
He had a beautiful way of showing kindness to others. Ken was always so thoughtful towards the staff and would often ask us to have a cup of tea or sit down for a little while because he was worried that we might be tired — even though we would tell him that we really weren’t! Those little moments may have seemed simple at the time, but they meant so much. They showed the kind of person Ken was: caring, considerate and always thinking about others.
During his memorable stay with us, Ken was a very independent man. His independence meant so much to him, and he was incredibly proud of being able to do things for himself. He had a quiet strength and determination about him, and we admired that greatly.
Ken became more than just someone we cared for. Over time, he became a familiar and special part of our Monkscroft family. We shared conversations, smiles, laughter and many little everyday moments that we will carry with us. It is often those ordinary moments that become the memories we treasure the most.
It is difficult to say goodbye to someone who has touched our lives in their own special way. There will be moments when we remember Ken and smile, moments when we expect to see him, and moments when we will simply miss his presence.
Although Ken is no longer with us, the kindness he showed, the memories he created and the impression he left on all of us will remain.
We will miss you, Ken. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your life and for the kindness you showed us in return. You will always have a special place in our hearts, and you will never be forgotten.
Rest peacefully, Ken.
You were loved, you are missed, and you will always be remembered. ❤️🕊️
