David, IanAYRESIan passed away suddenly at home on the 17th of April 2026.

Ian was a dearly loved husband of Annette, and a devoted dad to Nick.

He was an adored "silver" grandad of his grandchildren Elliot and Abigail and a cherished brother, uncle and great uncle.

The funeral service is to take place on Friday the 8th of May at 12pm, at Kirkleatham Crematorium.

Family and friends please meet at the chapel.

My darling Ian two weeks ago today you left me with a broken heart,but in your own words you would be telling me to pull myself together.I know you will be in heaven now and looked after by mam dad and Jackie and other family members.Ian was a hardworking kind and caring husband,dad and grandad who will never be forgotten and always loved and missed and will be forever in my heart and in the hearts of all who loved him,rest easy all my love Annette xx

This lovely man has been in our lives since I was very young.
He was a wonderful husband, Dad, granddad brother(in law) and uncle.Ian you will be missed so much by all our family.
TIme to put your paint brushes down and have a well deserved rest.
Rest in peace with our Mam Dad and Jackie who no doubt will be fussing around you now. Love from Jean and Rob xx
