I have so many fond memories of John. As a child I always liked visiting mum and dad’s friends John and Mavis best of all as they were so entertaining, there was always laughter and a funny story with John showing off some new piece of tech he had acquired. He will be greatly missed xx

Will always have fond memories visiting and seeing you demonstrate your latest hi-fi tech or go out for a test drive in whatever car you had just bought!

A close friend to my Dad over many decades - I was fortunate to have both you and Mavis as godparents growing up. Rest in peace John

To Mavis and family

May I offer my sincere condolences.

Always sad to hear of one’s passing. I worked at the Saab Import Centre with John in the 70’s. Such a wonderful man. I often went with John to IMMINGHAM for Friday fish and chips in his orange reliant bond bug car. That was an experience.

Great memories.

Warmest Regards
