Auntie Janet - I remember the lovely meals you cooked for us in Cheltenham and you always looked amazing in your outfits. We had some lovely weekends in Cheltenham and spent time with you and the family when you visited nan in Poole. God bless, sleep tight Angie Chris and family xx

I have so many happy memories of my dear sister-in-law Janet, where do I start. I met Janet in the summer of 63, I was just 16. I had started to go out with Graham's youngest brother David. I remember thinking what a lovely attractive woman she was and how she welcomed me into the family. Each year we got together either in Poole, Staplehurst
or Andoversford. We had such fun all together. What a good cook she was. I will never forget her lovely Sunday lunch. She created a fantastic meal with barely two saucepans, they were dented, broken handles and lost lids. All because she had thrown them at Graham during some row or other and they had got damaged. Such a laugh. I had always admired her creative skills, her painting, cooking and sewing. So clever. Rest in peace dear Janet, you deserve it. Lots of love Margaret. Xxx

When I think of Janet, I remember her warmth and generosity, the way she made me feel truly seen and cared for. She was kind to both me and my mum, always thoughtful, always had a kind word.
I’ll never forget when I first arrived from the Philippines at the age of 7 and barely knowing any English, she gave me educational gifts, a simple act that spoke volumes about the kind of person she was. It wasn’t just about the presents themselves, but about how she made me feel welcome, and valued as a new stepchild of Graham.
Some of my fondest childhood memories are of visiting her house in Andoversford with Dad. She would bring out the toys for me to play with, making her home feel like a place of fun and comfort.
Thank you, Janet, for your love, your laughter, and your generosity of spirit. You will always be remembered with gratitude and affection.

You were a lovely nanny and great nanny too. Thank you for all our shopping trips and treating me to breakfasts when I was a poor student. I will miss your laugh and your singing and calling me your lamb. Love you nanny xx
