SophiaALLISONPhia died peacefully after a short illness, at Ayr Hospital, surrounded by her children.

She was the cherished wife and soulmate of the late Ian, beloved mum and sounding board of Kathy, Judith and Stephen, daughter-in-law Rachel and sons-in-law Paul, Gerry and Colin; adored gran of Mark, Luke, Patrick, Keira, Joe, Reggie, Arthur, Winston, Jock and Hazel and loving great gran of Bodhi. She was a treasured sister, sister-in-law and aunt and a valued colleague, teacher and friend of all who knew her. She will be very much missed.

The funeral will be at 10am on 14th October 2025 at St. Margaret's Cathedral, John St. Ayr, followed by a committal service at Ayr Crematorium. All are welcome to attend both.

Family flowers only please but donations can be made instead to Alzheimers.org.uk in honour of Phia's patient and loving care of Ian.
