MavisALLENIt is with great sadness to announce that Mavis aged 87 passed away peacefully on 24th February 2026 in the loving arms of her family, whilst in the amazing care of the Grove Care Home, Waltham.

A devoted and much loved wife of the late Mac, a deeply loved mum to Gary, Sean and Joanne. A much loved mother-in-law of Lee and Kerry, a dearest sister of Brian and a loving aunty. Mavis was the most treasured grandma of Charlotte and William, a much loved nana of Jake and Megan, and a great-nana of Ollie and Tobias.

Mavis was the heart of her family and loved so very much, she will be greatly missed and forever loved by everyone who knew her.

A funeral service will be held at 9:30am on Monday 16th March at Grimsby Crematorium.

By request no flowers please, donations in memory of Mavis may be made to St. Andrew's Hospice. A donation box will be available on the day.
