Passed away peacefully at the Royal Derby Hospital on Sunday 2nd November 2025, aged 87 years.

Devoted husband to Jean, loving dad to David and the late Andrew, a loved father in law to Angela and Jacqueline and grandad, great grandad and friend to many.

Funeral service to be held at Trent Valley Crematorium, Aston on Trent on Friday 28th November 2025 at 1.30pm.

Family flowers only please. Donations if desired are invited for Treetops Hospice, Risley.
These can be made online at www.georgesimnett.co.uk or may be given at the service.

In memory of a wonderful man. We all remember you Eddie, Jean, David & Andrew, from being small and living around the corner from you all. Great friends of our mum and dads. You have been the most special Father to the late Andrew, Father in.law to myself, Grandad to Russell Jake and Tyler. Also Great Grandad to River, Taika and Ari.
