AndreaAINSWORTHMrs Andrea Ainsworth, nee Corcoran, of Oswaldtwistle, peacefully in her husband’s arms after a 12-month battle with cancer, aged 53. Andrea worked at Rists Wires, onto Stockley’s, and then spent the past 15 years as a housewife and a mother, looking after her children. Andrea loved socialising with friends, dancing, and having a laugh. She loved bird watching, baking, and cooking. Her favourite thing to do more than anything was be a devoted mother to her children. Andrea was outgoing, and loved to have a dance with the girls when she could. Her presence lit up the whole room like nobody else’s ever could; whenever Andrea was close, everyone was happy. She leaves devoted husband Graham, children Daniel, Dominic, Caitlin, Alisha, and Ebony, doting parents Colin and Irene, loved by everyone who knew her. One of a kind who will be very dearly missed. The funeral will be held on Monday, December 20, at 10.30am at Immanuel Church, New Lane, with burial in the churchyard after, led by Rev Martin Joss. The wake is at Oswaldtwistle Conservative Club. Mourners are asked to wear traditional funeral wear, with green incorporated, as it was Andrea’s favourite colour. Family flowers only; donations if desired to Macmillan Nurses and Prestige Nursing.
