EileenACKFORDPassed peacefully at Alexander House Care Home, surrounded by her loving family on Saturday 11th October 2025, aged 95 years.

A much loved and loving wife, mum, grandma, great-grandma, grandma big wheels and Mrs A. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

Funeral service at the Exeter and Devon Crematorium on Thursday 13th November at 12:30pm, St Peter's Chapel. Please come dressed as you feel comfortable.

Family flowers only please, donations if desired for Cancer Research UK by retiring collection, sent to LeRoy Funerals, 10 Alphington Road, Exeter, EX2 8HH or online on this notice.

I was lucky enough to get to know and care for Eileen in the last couple of years of her life. I’m very grateful to have been able to be there for Eileen. We had wonderful chats everyday and built an amazing friendship. Eileen became like another grandma to me. Eileen will forever live in my heart and memories. I never got the honor to meet her whole family apart from a couple members of the family. Unfortunately I only found out today, Christmas Day 2025, that Eileen passed and I’m writing this tribute hoping it gets to her family. Rest in peace. Until we meet again.
