I will miss your bright blue eyes and your wonderful smile.
I will miss your love for me and family,
Your strength to stay strong in adversity.
I will miss your jokes about TV and films we shared but most of all, the times that you cared.
I will miss our holidays in Scotland, Ireland and The Lakes and all of the walks we did without any breaks.
I will miss our special times abroad, so much laughter, sunshine and fun and your ability to stay cool under the burning sun.
I will miss your funny jokes and sayings "The time has come the walrus said" and your resilient strength and fortitude when you were confined to bed.
For many, many days but most of all my darling I will miss your loving selfless and caring ways.
With love and gratitude for the best days of my life, Gill (GiGi)

I had the pleasure of calling Allan a friend and colleague having worked with him over many years.
His character and integrity always impressed me, and we made a good team whilst at Norwest Holst (Vinci PLC). Allan was a family man much loved and always spoke with admiration and love of his children and grandchildren. I personally will miss our conversations, and discussions.

He was always my favourite uncle, and my only uncle as our joke went but there was more to that….. From the time when he gave me a record player when I passed my 11 plus until the recent years when we texted about our beloved(and infuriating)Everton there was always love 💙xx
