I only worked with Mike briefly, but in that time I got to know what a warm, accepting, generously spirited human he was. I'm gutted to know I won't have another great chat with him.

Mike, I miss hearing your voice on the phone. I miss you teasing me about my accent. I miss discussing politics with you because you're the only one who would eagerly debate with me. I will miss your honest criticism about my photos

You still pop up in my Facebook memories and I'm sad there won't be any new ones.

Rest easy my friend. I'll always keep your voice messages because your voice calmed me when I was at my lowest point.

You're probably up there now looking down and telling me to wise up and stop being so soppy as it's very unFranlike .

To Mike. I knew him briefly but his bright mind and swift wit never failed at raising a chuckle. He will be dearly missed.
