Ann & my mum Lila Lilly (nee Richards), grew up together, as mum lived at 19 Goswell Rd and Ann's house was right behind, they were childhood friends, the friendship was a constant throughout their lives. Ann (and her mum) were frequent visitors to our house as we grew up, we always looked forward to those visits as young kids we were in awe of her as a teacher at Millfield and teaching Latin as well, just blew our mind. Ann was a lovely lady and even in her later years she was always entertaining us with stories of her and Mums escapades growing up in Street. She lived a full and wholesome life and will be sadly missed
