MaryWARDIt is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Mary Ward aged 91 years, on Wednesday 20th May 2026, at home, surrounded by her loving family. A much loved wife of the late Cyril, a loving mother to Jenny, Carl and Kevin, mother in law to Melanie and Jean, cherished grandmother to Dominic, Lena, Donna, Richard, the late Laura, Hayley and Myles, and a treasured great grandmother. She was a good friend to many and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. A funeral service to celebrate Mary’s life will take place on Monday 15th June 2026 at 10.30am at Corpus Christi Church, followed by the committal at 12.00pm at Grimsby Crematorium. The family kindly requests no floral tributes, but if you wish, donations in memory of Mary’ may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or given on the day of the service.
