The obituary notice of Fiona Jane WALSH

I met Fiona in hospital the week she was diagnosed last summer. We became good friends in beds opposite it each other. She was was so kind, friendly and gentle with such strength. Her love for her children and Damien was clear and she shone when she spoke about them. I tried to keep in touch over WhatsApp but understandable this was difficult.
I only knew Fiona in person for a week, but often think of her and when thinking of today I noticed that she had not been seen on WhatsApp for sometime and googled her name, coming across this page. I am so sorry to hear that she has passed away and send lots of love to her family and friends, she was a very special person and I will always remember her.

Dear Fiona,

We never met in person but you still left an imprint on our lives. You were so kind when our little boy was born and went out of your way to welcome him into the world despite everything you were going through. Through Phoebe we know that you were a blessing to so many and a light in the world to your family, friends, and all the people who were blessed enough to know you. Your unwavering bravery, grace, and refusal to let this last battle strip you and your family of joy is an incredible legacy to leave behind as you join our Heavenly Father and rest in blissful peace. Your faith, children, and marriage are all beautiful reflections of who you are, and we know the Angels and Saints in Heaven will be rejoicing to welcome you home.
