passed away peacefully at Yeovil District Hospital on Friday 22nd August 2025 aged 88 years.

Dearly loved dad of Debbie and Paul, loving grandad of Charlotte, Jack and Hope and great grandad of Millie, Harley, Wilfie, Hughie and baby Pearl who will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at St Mary's Church, Meare on Tuesday 23rd September 2025 at 1.00 pm followed by interment in Meare Cemetery.

Family flowers only, donations if desired for British Heart Foundation can be left in the collection box after the service or made directly online at www.mfranksandsons.co.uk (announcements). Cheques payable to the charity can also be forwarded to:

We did not know Sid for long enough, but from what we did know he was a generous hearted and kind soul. Thank you Sid for the biscuits for the Labs, for all the eggs, beans and much more but mostly for the chats whilst walking the dogs.

My love and sincerest sympathy go out to Sid's family and all his many friends. We're going to miss him terribly, Somerset will definitely be smaller without him.
May Sid's spirit live on in your memories and dreams...a true big heart never dies.
