We were so sad to hear that Nigel had passed away, our thoughts go out to the family.
We met Nigel in Pantglas pool, he was a character. I will never forget my sons faces as we watched Nigel dive into the pool, something you are not meant to do, but Nigel did this everytime he came, much to my sons delight. You made us laugh. The boys renamed you 'Nigel Armstrong' (after an arm wrestling competition on the table) and 'Nigel Doc Martin' (as the boys used to say, 'mum he has the same car as Doc Martin!!). You were also renamed 'Nigel squash' as you would kindly bring your squash tray around the pool asking the children what flavour they wanted. They will miss you too.
We will all miss seeing you Nigel in Pantglas, you always brought a smile to our face, it will not be the same without you. Rest in peace Nigel. Love from Owen, Laura, Lois, Lloyd, Lewys and Liwc xxx

Nigel was a gentle and kind man who spread joy to everyone from all walks of life every day. He will be missed by all he came in contact with but no one more than Ann to whom he was devoted.
