StevenTAYLORSteven Taylor (Steve) of Rossendale passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family who he adored, on February 24, aged 66 years. The adored and much loved partner and soulmate of Mel, loved dad of Leo, Gemma and Carl, dear father-in-law of Joanne and Sarah, loving grandad of Tyffany, Strawberry, Poppy, Stone and Sebastian and great grandad of Hunter, a dear brother-in-law, relative and friend to many and a loving dog-dad to Billy.

Motorbike enthusiast. Steve loved being out on the open road on his bike both solo riding and with his biker mates. He was a keen gardener and loved to spend time in his garden ensuring it was immaculate and each year he would produce the most amazing vegetables and his garden was a haven for wildlife, and he loved to watch the birds on his many feeders. He enjoyed walking in the countryside and each day would walk for miles and miles accompanied with his beloved companion dog Billy (big balls). In his younger years Steve was a keen motorsport fan both super bikes and MotoGP, cyclist and boxer and always kept himself fit and strong. He also enjoyed his holidays, with his family in younger years and later with his beloved lifelong partner Mel. Steve was devoted to his family and was the proudest grandad and always looked forward to people visiting to share a brew and a fag.

Flowers are welcome or if preferred donations are being received in Steve's memory on behalf of Rossendale and Pendle Mountain Rescue.

Steve's funeral service will be held at Burnley Crematorium on Thursday, March 12 at 12.15pm, followed by refreshments at Rawtenstall Cricket Club.
