Philip EdwinSWEETPhil passed away on 7th March after a short illness and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He was passionate about music and in particular supporting the next generation in the appreciation and creation of music, and so his family have asked for donations in his memory (in lieu of flowers) to be made to the Rye Wurlitzer Academy. These can be made by visiting awelchandsons.co.uk (donate in memory)

A small funeral will be held for family and close friends on 8th April.

Hey mate. You left without saying goodbye. You'd better be waiting for me when I get there to see you again. Many thanks for getting me in trouble at school from our age of 4 years and in trouble at home with the special words to chitty chitty bang bang. I still have nightmares and fond thoughts.
Rest peacefully mate. Much love xxx

I first met Phil when my brother Peter died.
Peter was his piano teacher, and friend.
Phil was so helpful and kind, and became a very good friend to us.

One of the loveliest guys that my partner, Anne and I, have ever met.
Always cheery and helpful.

Miss you, mate.

Tony & Anne.
