Farewell to Uncle Derek!
Funny to think how he'd have enjoyed everyone getting together after the funeral.

Derek was such a kind-hearted man who brought joy every time we met. He will be truly missed but is now reunited with his wife xx

Sadly missed and will miss your silly jokes. It was fun working with you at Crownhill Police station, and years after leaving meeting you again as a patient at the dentist.

I shared a desk with Derek at work for several years and was always impressed by his cheerful and friendly attitude. He was a hard worker and always willing to offer his help and advice. I am so sorry to learn that he is no longer with us.
Unfortunately I am in Australia at the moment and unable to attend the funeral but he will be in my thoughts.
