Paul RaymondSMITHIt is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Paul Raymond Smith,
my beloved and much loved dad, affectionately known as the fairy-tale dad.
Paul was born on the 29th November 1955 and passed away on 15th January 2026.
He will be remembered for his incredible heart, his stories, his warmth and the love
he gave so freely to those around him.
He was truly one of a kind and will be forever missed by his family, friends
and all who were lucky enough to know him.
A celebration of Paul's life will be held on Wednesday 11th February at 3pm at Grimsby Crematorium.
Following the service family and friends are warmly invited to join us for a gathering to share memories,
stories and celebrate Paul's life at The Wheatsheaf Pub, Grimsby.
All who knew and loved Paul are welcome to attend and help us honour an incredible man
who will live on forever in our hearts.

There will also be a collection box for the British Heart Foundation a charity my late mum and dad supported dearly.
In true dad fashion casual clothing is absolutely fine, he was never one for formality,
his signature look was a simple polo shirt, Levi jeans and trainers and he'd want everyone to feel comfortable.
Thank you to everybody for the love, support and kindness shown during this difficult time,
my dad will be forever loved, forever missed and always in my heart.
