DouglasSMITH - (INVERGORDON, FORMERLY CUMNOCK)Dougie passed away peacefully, with Shonah and Kora by his side, at home, on Thursday 11th December 2025, aged 67 years.

Beloved husband and best friend of Shonah, loving dad of Natasha, Shantel and the late Ryan, cherished grandad of Maisie and Reo, grandad Dougie to Raegan, loved brother of Janet and James, brother-in-law of Jane, cousin and a good friend to many. Dougie will be sorely missed by all.

A celebration of Dougie's life will be held at Inverness Crematorium on Monday 22nd December 2025, commencing at 11 am. All friends respectfully invited.

Family flowers only please, but a donation if desired, can be made at the service or by scanning the QR code below for Macmillan Cancer Support and Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance.

A huge thank you to Alness/Invergordon Medical Group, Ward GA & Ward 7c Raigmore Hospital, Sutor Ward, Invergordon, District Nurses, Donald from Macmillan, Callum from Highland Hospice and Highland Croft Carers.

For those wishing to pay their respects, the funeral cortege will pass along Invergordon High Street at approx. 9.40 am, heading along the Shore Road and down Alness High Street at 9.50 am, and onwards to Inverness Crematorium.
