Richard IanSCOTNEYSadly passed away at Royal Derby Hospital, on 17th March 2026, aged 54 years.

Dearly loved husband to his late wife Sarah. Lovingly remembered by his beloved son Alex and daughter-in-law Alicia, his cherished granddaughters, Poppy and Rosie, and his partner Ruth. Deeply missed by his mum and dad, Marilyn and Tony, his brother and sister-in-law, Lesley and Martin, his mother- and father-in-law, Sue and Pete. Also missed by his cousin Joanne, his auntie and uncles, Lenora, Alan, Ian and Sheila, and his nephew Dan. He will be remembered always for his kindness, warmth, and the love he shared so freely with his family.

Funeral Tuesday 21st April, service 1:00pm at St John the Divine, Horninglow, followed by a private family committal.

Family flowers only please. Donations in loving memory of Richard will support the Nightingale Macmillan Unit at Royal Derby Hospital, and can be placed in the collection box at the service.

Thankyou Richard for your friendship,we met through the saddest times in our lives but you brought comfort when it was most needed, you were an inspiration to us all you had the biggest kindest of hearts, always there for us. Through you you brought together lifelong friendships & memories through creating our Timsar group & for that I will be forever grateful.
You will be greatly missed, leaving an enormous hole in our hearts. RIP dear friend, you will never be forgotten.

My condolences to all of Richard’s family. Richard always spoke lovingly of his precious family. I know he was very proud to be a co-founder of Timsar. For which I will be truly thankful.
