It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Eric Rowlands, aged 81 (formerly of Dowty Electrics - Ultra Electronics).
Eric passed away peacefully at home on 7th July 2026, with his wife Janet, son Craig, and daughter-in-law Katie by his side.
He was a devoted husband, dad, and a wonderful Gramps to Lowena. He will be deeply missed by all of his family and everyone who knew him.
In accordance with Eric's wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. Instead, donations in his memory can be made to Macmillan Cancer Support.
A celebration of Eric's life will be held on Friday, 24th July at 2:00pm at The Bumble Bee, Quedgeley. All who knew him are welcome to come and raise a glass in his honor.
