The obituary notice of Desmond ROBINS

I’ll always remember Des as a kind and calm person. I met him first in the Southgate Club on a Sunday night when he was playing cards with him s usual card players and they asked if I’d like to join in. I declined but over the next few months they tried to teach me - unsuccessfully! He used to come to visit me sometimes and we’d have tea and cake together and sort out the world. But never succeeded! He adored his family who I’m sure will miss him terribly. Time is a great healer. RIP Des. Glynis Storey
