TomRICHARDSONPassed away peacefully on 26th July 2026, aged 78 years.

Beloved husband of the late Sally Richardson. Loving Dad to Vanessa and Jennifer, proud Grandad to Evan, Florrie, Sam and Leo, much loved brother, uncle, father in law and dear friend to many.

Tom was a kind, gentle and thoughtful man who will be remembered for his warmth, love of Liverpool sense of humour and love for his family and friends. He found great happiness in spending time with those he loved and enjoyed many years playing bridge, where he made lifelong friends. He faced his final illness with dignity and courage and passed away peacefully surrounded by love.

He will be deeply missed every day and remembered always by everyone whose lives he touched.

Funeral service to be held at Ullet Road Unitarian Church, Ullet Road L17 2AA on Tuesday 18th August at 11.15am, followed by a committal service at Springwood Crematorium L25 7UN.

Family and friends are warmly invited to join us afterwards as we celebrate our dad's life.

We will miss our bridge buddy, the laughs and banter we had about Football, your love of listening to and going to concerts, he even wrote a list for me.
Tom was a tower of strength to us while Phil had hospital appointments.

I will miss Tom, always had a laugh and you couldn’t meet a kinder man. Enjoyed many afternoons in The Abbey and social evenings round at Tom’s house playing bridge.

I was honoured to know Tom as a friend. He was special in many ways not least for his generosity to others. He gave time to people struggling with heating and plumbing issues that he was very knowledgeable about after a lifetime of work in the industry. I know of several people who benefitted from this, me included!!
