Doting husband of the late Joan and loving dad to Carole, Paul, Nick & Tim.
A beloved grandfather to Ryan & Rachel, Jacqueline & Catherine, Lee & Gemma and Matthew & Samuel. Also a caring brother, uncle and great grandfather.
Ernest's passing is a huge loss to his family and friends, and he will be sorely missed by all.
A service will be held at Markeaton Crematorium (Main Chapel) on Tuesday 15 September 2026 at 1.30pm. Following the service, there will be refreshments at the Red Cow, St. Edmund's Close, Allestree.
