I loved your energy and enthusiasm for life, and I’m so grateful for the time we shared — with my parents, and later with you and Barry as dear friends who joined Pat and me on our walks and talks. I’ll always treasure the memory of your fabulous pasty cook-off and the treat of your homemade Victoria Sponge whenever we returned to the UK.
Most of all, I will miss your wonderful, throw-your-head-back laugh — it was pure joy and so completely you.
You left us far too soon.
I like to think that you are reunited with Mum and Pauline — and I’m sure disrupting any peace as you all chat up a storm.
