EmyrOWENEmyr Owen of Tatws Trading. Passed away peacefully on 17th August 2026 at his home in Abergele Road, Old Colwyn aged 76 years.

Beloved husband of Delyth, very much loved father of Geraint and Gwenan, much loved father-in-law of Sonya and Kevin and a cherished taid of Morgan, Celyn and Samuel.

Funeral service takes place at Colwyn Bay Crematorium on Tuesday 8th September at 2pm.

Family flowers only please but donations gratefully accepted in memory of Emyr and will be split towards Tudno Ward (Llandudno Hospital), Heulwen Ward (YGC & Enfys Ward (YGC) . Postal donations to be sent and made out to 'Awyr Las', General Office, Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor, LL57 2PW please include a note with your name and address, and any instructions on where the donation should go. Always had a chat and a laugh with Em when we went in the shop . He’s leaving it in good hands with Geraint who also has a smile for all .. rest peacefully Em condolences to Delyth and family .. you will be missed

If you are lucky in life you might come across a certain person that you bond with straight away this was my experience with Emyr we were both the same age brought up in the same environment it was a pleasure every time I saw Em and Geraint and especially Morgan we would discuss last weeks game and sort out where the game went wrong I will remember Emyr for as long as I live he was a perfect gentleman always with a friendly word of advice even though you didn’t want it 😂 and his son Geraint and grandson Morgan are a testament to him it would be a good idea to hang a picture of Emyr as you walk in the main door of the shop to make shur he is looking after all of us
