Chris,

I still cant believe im never going to see you or speak to you again. You know if I was in the country, I would walk every step of the way with you my dear precious friend. You wont be going alone though. You are loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure. You have touched so many lives and your legacy will live on in your wonderful children and your beautiful wife of whom you were so so proud. The world has truly lost a light, one of the kindest souls I ever met. It was a privilege to work with you for all those years and im blessed to have been able to have spent so much time with you. Thank you for making my seven years there bearable. We had a right laugh ... A right moan aswell! I won't say goodbye because I know i will see you again one day until then I will pray for you and light a candle for you every time I go to mass.

Rest now my friend and God bless you always,

Annabelle Rose, Barry, Jonathan and Richard-Peter in Scotland. Formerly of Anglian Home Improvements, Pelham Road, Nottingham

Holy Mother, please keep Chris safe in your arms. He is more precious than gold. May his memory live on and his genuine kindness be spread far and wide. May his light never go out.

Lord we ask you humbly to give Amanda, Harry, Maria and Arthur the strength needed to get through this first Christmas without their beloved Father and Husband. May they know to reach out if they need anything and they are thought about every day.

In the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Amen 🕊✝️❤️

Chris you were one of life's true gentlemen and I was so privileged to call you my friend. You never failed to make me laugh and smile and for that i thank you. I'm going to not only miss you and your sense of humour, im going to miss reading you insights into Shepshed life, those stories will always make me laugh, they really should be made into a book. Can't say I will miss your singing though mate, its almost as bad as mine lol.
Chris, its time for you to rest in peace my dear friend and im sorry I cant be there to see you off on your final journey, but I will have a bacon roll and shout at a few cyclists that day in your memory. Until we meet again dear friend....
