EddieMELLERSIn remembrance of Eddie Mellers, age 85 and of Epworth,
who passed away peacefully on 24th April 2025
with his loving family by his side at Scunthorpe General Hospital.

Much loved husband of Carol, cherished father of Louise, Kate & Jenny,
loving grandad, uncle and friend to many, he will be sadly missed.

A funeral Service will be held at St Martin’s Church, Owston Ferry,
on Friday 16 May at 1.30,
followed by a private family committal at Woodlands Crematorium
and a celebration of his life at The Old School Inn, Epworth, to which all are welcome.

Donations in lieu of flowers for the benefit of Macmillan Cancer Support
may be left at the service or sent c/o

A privilege to say farewell to Eddie in St Martin's Church yesterday. The words that were spoken about him were very true. He always had a mischievous twinkle in his eye because he was simply happy to be alive.
