Anthony BruceMCDONALDPeacefully in his sleep, whilst in the care of Diana Princess of Wales Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Tony aged 91 years of Grimsby. Dearly loved husband of Barbara. Beloved dad of Peter, Eileen, Anthony, Gwen, Debra and Jane. Dear father-in-law, grandad and great grandad. Very dearly loved and respected by all his family and friends and will be very sadly missed.

The service is to take place at Grimsby Crematorium on Wednesday 1st July 2026 at 12:45pm.

Tony is resting at Alexanders Funeral Care, Alexander House, 70 Carr Lane, Grimsby, DN32 8JP to where floral tributes may be sent or if so desired donations in lieu made payable to Nunny Farm on the following link tinyurl.com/mf5kbmex

No mourning dress please by the request of the family but a token of pink clothing would be appreciated.

I very fondly remember the happy and carefree household of Tony and Barbara when they lived in their house in Chatham Avenue. I spent lots of time there. Peter was a toddler and Eileen a newborn. I remember Tony putting his porridge to soak in the oven overnight. Very special people. Sorry to hear about Tony’s passing Barbara. Love Janet

The kids were so lucky to have you as their Great-Grandad Mac Mac. You adored them, and they adored you right back. You were such a big part of Michael’s life and, from the moment I joined the family, a big part of mine too. It’s hard to imagine family gatherings without you 💔
