Geoffrey Lewis EdwardLOCKEWe are privileged to have shared in the life of Geoffrey Lewis Edward Locke, who sadly passed into the arms of his creator on Saturday 3rd January 2026.
For 55 years he was married to Josephine and together they welcomed Rudi, Michele, Simeon, Miriam, Nathan and Naomi into the family, along with sons and daughters-in-law followed by grandchildren in their multitudes.
A philosopher, teacher, lay preacher, councillor, school governor and friend. He was passionate about sharing the gospel, especially through Christian education. This included significant involvement in setting up St Thomas's School and The King's C of E Avademy.
We will miss his great wit, warmth and wisdom, but we have faith that we will see him again in glory.
Please join us to celebrate Geoff's life at his Funeral Service on Wednesday 21st January 2026 at St Thomas' Church, Kidsgrove at 11am.
A livestream is available for those unable to join us in person.
