Stephanie JayneLAYFIELDStephanie JAYNE Layfield
Born Waterloo, Liverpool 29 January 1958 to 21 June 2026 (Age 68)

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Jayne on 21st June, 2026 at St Joseph's Hospice, Thornton, Liverpool.

Jayne, dear sister to Lindy and brother in law Chris, loving aunt to Kate and Di, and David, Chika and great aunt to Luka, cousins in Norfolk, Australia and Canada, and sister-in-law to Babs and Arthur and their families.

Jayne was a huge presence in our family and will be greatly missed by us all as well as everyone who knew her in and around Thornton and Liverpool. We will miss her love, fun and sense of humour.

St Joseph's gave her superb care and always went the extra mile for the weeks she was with them. She was happy there and the staff were always so lovely and kind, they enjoyed her sense of humour every day.

Donations for St Joseph's Hospice, in memory of Jayne, would be greatly appreciated.

Auntie Jayne - I will always treasure the time we spent together. You always had me giggling. Your quick wit, sarcastic sense of humour and infectious laughter meant that any visit was filled with smiles and giggles.
You were so warm, kind-hearted and full of love, and you made everyone around you feel welcome.
Thank you for being such a wonderful auntie. You’ll be loved, remembered and missed always.
Rest peacefully, Auntie Jayne. ❤️ Emma,Mark and Libby xxx
