Steve Hallett here. Edwin was a considerate and kind friend to me and a group of other lads when we were teenagers. He taught us to ride his motorbike in a field up near Cefn On and often shipped us around in his Anglia Van. We spent holidays camping in Cornwall. He once lent me all his Beatles LPs and I remember all listening to Johnny Cash albums. Many happy memories of a real friend!

Such fond memories of Edwin when we were young people in Emmaus Chapel in the 1960s. His Ford Anglia white van was the stuff of legends! He was always so kind and generous!.
We tried to trace him without success recently as we had a reunion in Emmaus! How we all wish he could have been there!
Trust me he will always be fondly remembered. A true gentleman!
