My dad was the truest example of that saying, “A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one.” He could turn his hand to anything, always with the simple intention of helping someone. But he was a master — especially when it came to mechanics. He taught himself everything, poring over books he bought with his own money, driven by pure curiosity and a love for understanding how things worked. What made it special wasn’t just his skill, but the way he used it: quietly, generously, and always for others. He fixed more than engines — he lifted burdens, restored calm, and showed love in every problem he solved. He was an amazing Dad and Grandad and he will be missed by many. Hadn’t known you for too long but the time spent with you was always a pleasure, we loved the way your grandchildren ran and hugged you when they saw you, that spoke volumes!
