I knew Alan only for but a short time through his music and his family and friends who he played with . I loved the part he played in that quorum ,he was a kindly gentleman, his demise so early in his years is a terrible tragedy for Shereen especially, my emotions are upset personally to never hear him play or see him again.

Thinking of all Alan’s family at this very sad time , we will miss our lovely neighbour.

Such a special man and some fantastic memories of days gone by. We will miss you Al
