PeterJOHNSONPassed away peacefully at home on Monday 26th January, aged 92 years.

Husband to the late Sheila and long-term partner to Joyce. Dad to Paul and wife Bev, and to Pamela and partner Mark. Cherished Grandad to Naomi, Brit, Robert, Cameron and Leah and to their husband/partners Roy, Hayley, Molly and Steven. Also, Great Grandad to Alicia, Finlay, Brooke, Madison, Adelaide, Olive and Jesse. Devoted brother to his late sister, Betty.

He will be greatly missed by family and friends both here and in Canada.

A funeral service will take place at St Giles Church, Village St, Derby on Thursday 12th March at 11am followed by a committal at Markeaton Crematorium, (Main Chapel) at 12.30pm. Then, time to share memories and celebrate Peter's life at Littleover Social Club, Blagreaves Lane, Derby.

Family flowers only please, with donations instead of flowers to The British Heart Foundation.

Peter, you always made me welcome & happy to share your experiences in life as well as showing an interest in my life.

Grandad, we weren’t ready for you to leave us so soon and so unexpectedly, I wish that we had more time together, but I am so grateful for the almost 29 years of fun, memories, time, and everything else that you gave to me during my life. Thank you for being the best Grandad we could ever ask for, you made the world a better place xx
