MavisJARVISFollowing a long illness bravely borne with Dignity, Mavis of Ulceby passed away on Thursday 26th February, 2026, aged 88 years surrounded by her loving family.

A loving mum to Paul and Ruth, mother in law to Helen and Neil, a loving sister to John and Robert, a loving grandma to 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and a cherished friend to many. Mavis will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A funeral service will take place on Tuesday 17th March, 2026 at St Nicholas Church, Ulceby at 2.30pm followed by committal at Grimsby Crematorium at 3.45pm.

By request family flowers only please but donations in lieu can be made to The Children's Society c/o Freepost RUAU-HSBE-KKAX The Children's Society Octavia House 50 Banner Street London EC1Y 8ST

Such a beautiful, lovely, witty lady with always a smile and a hug. Becoming part of a family through loved ones, then finding out she came from an area in Manchester that we both grew up in, a long time ago, such a small world isn't it at times!
