It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of Glyn on Thursday, 13th November 2025 at Ysbyty Gwynedd, aged 82 years. Of Fron Ogwen, Tregarth (formerly Morannedd, Hwfa Road, Bangor), Glyn sailed peacefully into the sunset surrounded by close family following a short illness.
Beloved husband to Jacqui, loving father to Rex and dear Sara, father-in-law to Non and Mark, and proud grandfather to Caleb, Mabli, Ioan, Dyddgu, Gwilym, Jac, Cai, Twm and Lleu.
Glyn will be lovingly remembered by family and friends as a lively, caring and trusted soul who was always generous with his advice. A highly regarded Chartered Surveyor, Glyn was also a keen sailor, cyclist, gardener, and motorbike enthusiast, with a particular love for music and the outdoors.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the medical teams at Hebog and Alaw Ward at Ysbyty Gwynedd for their care of Glyn.
A public celebration of Glyn's life will be held at Bangor Crematorium on Monday, 15th December at 11:00am.
Donations in lieu of flowers will be gratefully accepted towards North Wales Cancer Appeal, through J P Turner & Daughters.
